IconX Builders began in 2014 as the design and construction division of our own retail center development firm using the La Madeline French restaurant concept as a primary anchor tenant in upscale, super fast growing counties in Texas and Colorado. Our objective was to stand out in a sea of sameness with our designs by working with the finest architects in Dallas and Denver and accelerate past other builders by attention to granular detail, elegant finishes and precision execution. We succeeded.

IconX earned the opportunity to build for other developers and seized it with pleasure. Our seasoned, commercial construction management team has built over 30-hotels for premiere global brands like Marriott, Hilton and IHG. The team has worked alongside elite global architecture and engineering firms like www.humpreys.com and www.jacobs.com to build projects like a 207,000 SF, 500-bed luxury student housing project called The View on the Square (www.theviewonthesquare.com) in addition to millions of square feet of multi-story, multi-family projects (podium and wrap) and retail centers.
And, we apply our commercial expertise to crafting luxury dream homes from the Austin hill country to the Rocky Mountains.

We have built nearly 2-million square feet of luxury apartment homes in both target verticals. These included resort-level amenities like complex pools and water features, basketball gyms, volleyball courts, workout and game rooms and bike repair and wash stations.

Dan M. McReynolds, J.D.
Founder/President
Dan is a graduate of and former Adjunct Professor at Baylor Law School and has spent a career in Private Equity building businesses of all types, but his passion is building beautiful, physical structures. Dan started in construction working for his grandfather who owned an international general contracting firm that built oil refineries and chemical plants, spent time in Los Angeles as a crew chief for a Site Preparation Dry & Wet Utility contractor and has now been in commercial construction since 2014 building projects ranging from $50m 6-story buildings to $4m retail centers and restaurants.

Rudy Torres
Vice President
Rudy has 18+ years of experience as a construction manger in commercial construction primarily in the Central Texas area and surrounding States and began working with IconX in 2017. He has completed over 30 hotels, and nearly 75 other projects in Texas, California, Colorado and Louisiana. He has in-depth knowledge of the scope of work for each trade involved in a major retail, office, residential or institutional construction project that ensures the timely delivery of the highest quality construction.

Vice President - Project Management and Finance
Frances has 15+ years of experience as a project and finance manager in commercial construction and has been working with IconX since 2018. She has completed construction projects exceeding $150M in value. She maintains systems and procedures that are followed by our team, vendors and subcontractors, even when it might seem like chaos to an outsider, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and on budget.
